Software Updates:

In order to use a TwEECer (or if you just want to install and poke around in the software prior to purchase), you MUST download and install the following in the order in which they are listed.

  • Borland Database Engine - This must be installed FIRST.  You will get some warnings during this install, such as not enough free disk space and/or a registration error.  Simply ignore this and continue on.  This is a known issue that does not affect performance of the application.
  • TwEECer Setup - This includes the program CalEdit, which is used to edit your programs as well as read/write programs to the TwEECer. This package also includes CalCon, which is the software used for real time datalogging for the TwEEcer RT.
  • Documentation - User community supported documentation, support mailing list, and online forums can be found at the bottom of this page.

*NOTE* Windows NT 4.0 is *NOT* supported as it does not have support for USB.

User Support/How-TO/Documentation

One of the biggest issues in the DIY tuning market is that Ford does NOT openly provide information regarding its calibration system, so most info is assumed and hacked out by experimentation. We have gotten lucky on a couple of things and  can help some. Sign up for our TweEECer yahoo group and go to our files section and

get these 3 zip files:

CRAI8.zip  - Strategy Documentation for 1998 GT & Cobra

GUFB.zip   - Strategy Documentation for 89-93 5.0L Mustangs

LHBL1.zip  - Strategy Documentation applicable to 1993-1995 Speed Density Trucks
